160 characters

i wanna learn sign language!

so yeah.
i met ad at 4pm ++, was late la.
at suntec, OMG its mad packed
somehow ive developed a phobia of crowds
took us like 10 mins to weave through the crowd just to get to watson to get my blistering feet plasters.
never buy garfield plasters, they are so unsticky. HMMMPF
went to marina after to meet ifa just to talk alil on the camp.
haha and vie was there too
after that we went to billy bombers for dinner.
good pepper steak with hot "weggie" as the guy said,
and yes of corse, the much loved milkshake!! :)

walked over to esplanade to catch '160 characters'
what is that you might ask?
its something like who's line is it anyway, but the actors are aussie.
and why the name? simply bcoz they act out scenes based on randomly selected msg from the audience.
mind you its not a composed one. its something that is already in their inbox.
not too bad i might say.
though i suspect they might have pre planned the concept and just weave the smses into their act
ad was telling me before the show how the hi-5 tickets were selling via sistic hotline.
there was this one kid who called : "hello can i speak to kathleen?"
HAHA! SO CUTE.
then this other kid, a small boy
boy: "can i buy tickets to hi-5"
ad: "can. but you'll need a credit card. u have?"
boy: "have"
ad: "ok i need the number"
boy: "xxxx-xxx" (background got a lady shouting and the phone goes dead)
soon the mother calls back to ask if any transaction was made.
LOL.
the boy actually took the card without the mothers knowledge to book tickets.
i didnt know hi5 was that well liked by singaporean kids.
there were even parents who wanted to buy isle tickets. why?
"so my kids can dance at the side"
HEHE!

after that we went down to the open space outside the esplanade.
my my the band playing was awesome!
they were playing infusions of various genres including hiphop, raggae, ska what not
sure got the crowd working.
fantastic atmosphere.
might come back next week to check out the next band.
chilled at harry's over a jug of strawberry margerita.
all the way till 11+ where trev picked me up to head to clarke quay
ad took the cab and continued on the katong.

at clarke quay we chilled at macs first .
the chefs had their talk, azrul came.
we went to 711 to get ourself beers.
came back still talking. all the way to 1.
while they were busy talking, something caught my eye.
no not any handsome guy
but rather this group of people in macs.
they all were communicating to each through sign language
what was more intreging was that this 2 white dudes walk in all cool and all.
and they stopped by the table and signed them too!
it was just, lovely to see.
how sign language is mandatory for some people as a mean of communication,
and a tool for an extention of friendship.
it just made me smile to myself like a kukubird.
i want to learn sign language!
anyway, we headed to gotham since alex was already there with 3 chicks.
chris was headed there too
but did you know that gotham has now a 23yr old limit for guys?
or maybe its been like that for sometimes but its damn dumb.
so we headed to mos.
the fella taking orders at the smoove bar refused to let me order since i "wasnt in line"
i argued back, "like HELLO i was. and still am"
he told me to get at the back of the line.
i rolled my eyes (so bitchy to the baldy, he looked shocked)
but one of the bartenders tap my hand and basically let me order :)
duh, i mean all the bartenders standing around so ORDER LA.
then while he was making my drinks the order fella say ok ok ok what u want.
"I ALREADY ORDERED!"
heh heh.
bo tar bo lam pa. then we headed into the cage to shake it off.
not much beautiful people. but anyways.
had my wager with trev to hook up as many girls as he can.
kept nudging him to girls who would come into our vacinity.
LOL.
i quite like dancing with azrul.
anyways left slightly before the place closed, so we'd miss the going home crowd.
trev seemed quite displeased i dont know why.
anyways, my feet were kiling me!
trev dropped me off home, and after a quick wash up, i plonked myself into bed.

there's so many movies i need to catch up on!!
da vinci code (yes i havnt watched it)
over the hedge
xmen 3 (after i watch xmen 2 pls)
shes the man
hostel
the nun
cars

i think im missing more.
anway things look like its taking a turn,
especially now with someone who surprisngly, effortlessly and sillyly makes me laugh.
oh well, its all too soon.
besides, i aint over my own fears that yes i do have deep down somewhere in my cobwebbed filled heart.
